How to remove the limit sensor alarm of the JUKI RS-1 / RS-1R SMT machine

Sometimes, the SMT pick and place machine appears to limit sensor alarm when something is set above the Y-axis or X-axis limit sensor by mistake. At this time, the screen of the SMT mounter jumps out limiting sensor error on it. Some people don’t know how to solve this problem. Solution 1.

• Following the steps in video 1 above, you will find out the alarm limit sensor of the JUKI RS-1 pick and place machine.
• If the alarm limit sensor is a Y-axis limit sensor, it is usually because of X-axis run exceeded the maximum placement range. You need to push or pull the X-axis to the center of the machine.

• Following the steps in video 2 above, you can remove the limit sensor alarms of the JUKI RS-1 mounter.

Solution 2.

• Following the steps in video 1 above, you will find out the alarm limit sensor of the JUKI RS-1 pick and place machine.
• If the alarm limit sensor is an X-axis limit sensor, it is usually because of placement head run exceeded the maximum placement range. You need to push or pull the placement head to the center of the machine.
• Following the steps in video 2 above, you can remove the limit sensor alarms of the JUKI RS-1 mounter.

Solution 3.

• Following the steps in video 1 above, you will find out the alarm limit sensor of the JUKI RS-1 pick and place machine.
• If both X-axis and placement head do not exceed the maximum placement range. You need to inspect if the alarm limit sensor is light. If not, please reinsert the sensor connector to see if the limit sensor is bad.
• If it works again after reinsert, follow the steps in video 2 above, you can remove the limit sensor alarms of the JUKI RS-1 mounter.
• If it still does not work, please replace this limit sensor.

Solution 4.

• Follow the steps in video 1 above, if you find all 6 limit sensors are not light. please inspect the fuse on the control board of limit sensors. The fuse of the JUKI RS-1 machine is the same as the parts marked with an orange line in the below picture. ( please note, that this board is not the JUKI RS-1 limit sensors control board. It is just for showing you the fuse. )
• In this picture, the fuse is in normal working condition. If the which button of the fuse is protruded. please push it down.
• Inspect if all limit sensors are light. If yes, follow the steps in video 2 above, you can remove the limit sensor alarms of the JUKI RS-1 mounter.
• If limit sensors are still not working, it should be all limit sensors are bad. But it’s unlikely. You can replace a good one to try. If a good one is still working on this machine. Then, you should need to replace this limit sensor control board.
